Moments to Remember

We definitely had a "Moments to Remember" kind of day, so I thought it would be a great time to join the Moments to Remember Link Party over at 1+1+1=1!

We were on our way home from the gym and Gracie says, "Mom, it's such a beautiful day, we should stop at the park!" My first thought was...... Ugh...... really, today?? I have SOOO much to do at home! ......but since I have such a hard time saying no to my kids when they ask to go to the park, it didn't take much convincing on her part:) Boy, am I so glad we stopped, it turned out to be such a great time!

We had an impromptu science lesson about how mulch was made:)

We had lots of encounters with the wildlife! I thought Gracie was going to come UN-GLUED when these geese started coming towards us!

We have been working on this/ these units for about 3 weeks now because of spring break and other stuff we had going on......I'm sooo ready to move on!!

You can't really tell, but she actually was making her own pattern here..... flower, butterfly......!

I have to brag on my little girl a bit....

As we were looking at these letter Q pictures and came to the queen, she asked me "mom, is this Queen Esther like in your book?" (I am doing the Esther study by Beth Moore and she saw the work book on my night stand and asked about it one morning) So I started telling her the story about Queen Esther and she was so in to it that she went and got her bible and made me find the story for her!

I can't remember who got this for Gracie for her birthday, but she LOVED putting it together!! (thank you, I am sooo horrible about writing thank you notes:)

Bath tub Fun!

We have played with shaving cream in the tub MANY times, but this time we added some food coloring, and....Ta-Da.....paints!! It was so neat to see them start to mix the colors and discover new ones.

(....and yes, I did drain the water and bathe them with clean water:)

If you haven't noticed already, I decided to remove my craft blog:(((( There just isn't enough time in the day, and I figured that keeping up one blog is a pretty good goal right now! (besides, Blogger seems to be really s-l-o-w lately.....or maybe its just my internet?) Any how, you might be seeing my craft projects sneak their way onto this one!!
