Pumpkin Patch #2

We went to 7 Acre Woods Pumpkin Patch yesterday with our playgroup. I'm hopeful that if we wear our pumpkin shirts and go to enough pumpkin patches then maybe, just maybe, I will get that perfect picture of both girls looking and smiling at the camera..........

They are definately going to get their wear out of these shirts!!

Rearranging and other randomness

I know what your thinking...... Awwww poor Gracie, not feeling well?? Ummmmmm.....no. This is her new favorite TV watching spot since we rearranged the living room furniture. I'm not sure if its because the "seating areas" are closer to the TV now (that's why I like it better) or what, but I think she would lay here ALL DAY and watch Clifford if I would let her (and I might let her today since I have a ton of housework to catch up on :)

(please excuse the mess, we had a busy weekend)

After seeing these pictures I have decided to put some stuff back on our walls......it's still our home and it looks more like a prison cell right now :(

I had to share these pictures of me and Gracie getting Allie up the other morning. She gets SOOOOO excited to see Gracie, she starts laughing hysterically and jumping up and down.

Gracie told me "mom look, I'm taking a "toy bath"....... love these girls :)

Think Pink!

Yesterday at our Moments group we had a "pink" day to remember/honor those who are going through or have gone through treatment for breast cancer and raise awareness of the disease. It was such a memorable and powerful time with great friends.

Each table group made two hats to donate to an oragnization that distributes them to cancer patients who have lost their hair. Here is one of the hats we made (very wierd to see myself in front of the camera, I'm usually behind it!)

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD…”

*Thanks for sharing these pictures Suzanne!

Fall Makeover

Ahhhhh...... doesn't this blog makeover just make you want to get in the kitchen and bake some pumpkin pie and roast a turkey????? I was having a "craft OCD" moment today and instead of cutting up more of my long sleeve t-shirts (more on that addiction later) I decided to give my blog a face-lift. LOVING IT...... this is just like scrapbooking...... oh the possibilities, Christmas, winter, Valentine's Day...... can't wait!!!!

Pumpkins and More Pumpkins!!

I am sure by the end of this post you will be rediculously sick of seeing pumpkins!!

Uncle Gerry and Aunt Lisa came over Saturday morning to carve a pumpkin, Gracie picked a spiderweb design which was probably the most difficult of them all....

We decided to skip Dewberry Farms this year since Gracie still isn't old enough to do most of the stuff there and she doesn't like to be told "no your not big enough yet" (it usually results in a fit) so we went to The Old Time Christmas Tree Farm about 10 minutes from our house. It's not a "real" pumpkin patch (meaning they don't actually grow the pumpkins there like at Dewberry), but there was enough to do and we had a great time. I'm so glad we didn't drive the 45 minutes to Dewberry, because as soon as we got to The Old Time Christmas Tree Farm on Saturday afternoon, my camera battery went out!!!! AHHHHHH, I was soooo upset :( We cut the trip short and came home and went back on Sunday afternoon with a full battery!!!

Any moms out there know the secret to getting both kids to look at the camera AT THE SAME TIME????

Getting some love from daddy on the train :)

I LOVE FALL!!!
All we need now is some consistent fall weather....
