Helloooooooooo there!!! It has been a great summer, but I am soooo O-V-E-R the heat! We have been super busy this summer, having lots of fun!! Here are a few pictures of some of the things we've done:)
With the end of summer comes the start of fall and a new school year! We have been doing a LOT of praying in this house as to what this next school year will look like for us. We loved Legacy and the University Model School, but we really felt like God was calling us to a change for this year for many different reasons! Teaching is my PASSION, and something I love to do, and I feel like God is giving me the opportunity to do that with my own children. Sooooooo, we have decided to home school full-time this year! We are all excited and feel like this is an opportunity to continue to have the family time we desire, and a flexible schedule that gives us the ability to do what we want, learn what we want, and experience the things that WE want for our kids! I know my time with them is limited, and I want to take full advantage of their desire to be at home with mom, what's the rush to "grow them up"??
We also found a great "enrichment center" near our house that provides enrichment classes for home school families every Thursday. They do art, science, social studies, music, and PE, Gracie had her first day today and she LOVED it!! So thankful for Horizons!!
We are also signed up for a science class, and of course ballet, so I'm pretty confident in our ability to stay "social" (this girl needs her friends!)
