As promised...

As I promised, I took my camera out this weekend and tried to take pictures every time I thought about it. My sweet friend Caroline came over on Friday to visit and do some crafting while the girls took their naps. Go check out our crafting on my craft blog here.

Here is Gracie showing me her "mustache" she made out of paper:)

She wanted Mrs. Caroline to read her her naptime story, good thing she is a kindergarten teacher and doesn't mind read-alouds!

I even took my camera to church and tried to get some good pictures of the girls all dressed up. LOVE these smiles!!

Camera Break

I'm just going to say that I am giving my camera a little "break", which is why I don't have any pictures of the girls over the past two weeks, except for these 3 iphone pictures....

I know, PATHETIC!! I am going to pull out my camera tomorrow and take pictures like crazy!!

Pampering with G-Maw

Gracie freaks out everytime we have to wash her hands or take a bath because she doesn't want her "glitter polish" to wash off:)

Makin' Cakes

Gracie got this Play-Doh set for her birthday in February (thank you Aunt Leissa), and we put it away for a rainy day....since that isn't happening anytime soon, I thought a 105 heat index is just as good of a reason to play inside!

I don't think they actually ever made a cake, Gracie loved to make the "icing" once she figured it out:)

Moody Gardens

We decided to take a last minute road trip to Moody Gardens on Saturday. "Last minute" seems to be a re-occuring theme around here, but it's fun to listen and watch Gracie try and figure out where we are going by watching what we pack, I think she was convinced we were going to the beach:)

(**even though we have never taken her to the beach, that is a road trip we are definitely going to take before the summer is over!)

I sure hope they wash those 3-D glasses!!
