Adventure Week VBS 2012

We had Adventure Week VBS this past week at church, and it was a BLAST! The theme was "Wonderfully Made, Amazing Me" and the kids got to learn about how God made each one of them super special and amazing! They had bible stories, game time, crafts, snacks, bouncy houses, tumble time, kids church, and water day, and the older kiddos (Gracie's age) got to go into "BIG" church to see Dennis Lee and his awesome puppet show! They were soooo busy, and by the end of the week they were WORE-OUT (but they still didn't want it to be over)!! I am so thankful that I was able to spend this week with them and be a part of it!!

Oh, and I can't forget about April's handmade maternity shirt....this should go on Pinterest...for real:)

Serendipity Part #1

My sweet friend Crystal is starting up her own photography business and she did a photo shoot for us a few weeks ago. I guess you can say I have not always been a big fan of "family picture day". (you would think I would love it with all the pictures I take:) Last time we did it, it was beyond stressful, but this time it was SO fun! Crystal was really laid back and just let the girls be girls and followed their lead to take the pictures! We got so many great ones, I wish I could post them all because they are all AMAZING!

Pool Time!

The temps are starting to rise which means the only thing bearable to do outside is swim!! We decided not to do the big pool like we did last year because it killed half of our grass and you could probably see the crop-like-circle from miles away! This one is great, its like an oversized kiddie pool, and they love it just as much!



Princess Ice Skating

I bought this CD from itunes a couple of weeks ago and it has been the BEST purchase ever!! The girls put on their "princess dresses" and ice skate and dance around the living room for at least 45 minutes! They are out of breath when they are finished, so I know they are getting some exercise! I'm going to need some more indoor activities because it is getting H-O-T outside!!

They even got Chuck in on the fun!
